Preschool Praisers! The 3 and 4 year old class sang "Awesome God" tonight to start the children's musicial "AmeriKids."

Daddy and the boys putting the new bunk beds together. We were up way past bed time getting the room ready so Jake could go to sleep.

For some reason, I went to check on Jake before I went to bed tonight. This is how I found him sleeping. I don't know how or why he was sleeping this way. I snapped a picture and Jim put him back on the bed. Interesting!

The Finish Line! The lady behind me was betting me most of the time and it wasn't until the last two tenths of a mile that I passed her. It was driving me crazy that I couldn't catch up with her. mainly because she kept walking and then she would run fast. I am VERY excited to have this picture of me at the finish line.

Getting the hang of the bike thing! I guess I feel I need ALOT of pictures of him riding his bike. Every day he gets better and better. It is amazing how quickly he has grasped the concept.

Here is the big boy riding his bike without the training wheels and he didn't see any reason to slow down as he went over the curb. Scared me to death!

Tonight was a big milestone in the Perdue household. Jake learned to ride his bike without training wheels, but first daddy needed to take the bike for a test drive.

Anna Kate loves to ride the tractor and now that she has found someone to ride her it is very difficult to make her understand that she can't ride ALL the time. I guess that is what Big Brothers are for!

April 19

Jake made a garage for the airplane. This is a big deal for Jake to think of an create something pretend. Most times his imagination is related to something he has seen Jim or me say.

April 18

Since the famous hair cut Jim and I have decided that we like Jake's hair short. In order to maintain the short style we are the ones responsible for the hair cut. It is hard to tell but Jake is spitting hair out of his mouth, for some reason he doesn't like hair in his mouth.

Worms...Dirt... What more could boys want?

The boys have found this sand spot in out yard. They love to play in the dirt. It keeps them entertained for hours, which puts a smile on my face.

April 16

Jake thinks worms are so cool. He likes to find them and bring them to me or he likes to try to put them on the little girl that lives next door. He know that both of us think they are GROSS.

We were leaving the library today and this is what he saw as we were walking to the car. I totally screamed as he came running up to me holding this thing in front of my face. "Put it down" Mommy can we please take it home? It is the biggest one" No, yuck get in the car."
It wasn't until I had them in the car and buckled up that I realized I had my camera. There was no way I was going to get them back out, but I had to take a picture of this enormous worm.

April 15

Judd has LOVES pecans. Well actually, he loves to find pecans that haven't been cracked. We have a pecan tree behind our house so his new favorite thing to do is get on the tractor, ride to the back, pick them up and bring them back to me. "Mommy, you open pecan peese" THe part that I don't understand is this, we have a huge bag of shelled pecans in the pantry and he doesn't like those. Could someone explain this to me?

Bath time is always fun at our house. Anna Kate is obessed with the washcloths. If you take it away from her she get furious and screams. However, She did enjoy playing peek-a-boo on this particular evening. She will love me for this picture when she is older.

Judd has been to the doctor so much recently that he knows how to "breathe" so they can hear his wheezing. Our neighbor was listening to him today so he wanted to practice on mommy. Don't you think he would be a really cute doctor?

This was our only group photo from Papa Wayne's visit. We just finished hunting eggs and we were racing to Jake's soccer game.

Happy Birthday, Babygirl! This is what she did after the cake was all finished. She REALLY enjoyed the cake.

Anna Kate loves the cat, Spot. She enjoys trying to catch and pet her. This is one of those rare moments that Spot allowed Anna Kate to get close. Anna Kate keep giggling and having a great time until Spot ran away.

April 7

This is Judd's bed. He has a collection of things in his bed. It amazes me that he can actually sleep in the thing. Jake was the same way and I call them "gerbils." They have to nest everything in the corners to help make their home. I don't have any pictures of Jake's bed at this age so I wanted to be sure to captured the gerbil stage with Judd.

April 6

Just the boys were getting ready to go to bed Daddy started playing a little football with them. A gently game of toss the football turned into football wrestle. They had so much fun trying to tackle Daddy.

April 5

A sweet lady in church made the coats that the boys have on and the dress Anna Kate is wearing. Jake LOVED the jacket. He was so excited to wear a jacket like Daddy. You guessed it, Judd wanted to wear his because had to match Jake. I know this isn't the best picture but after 20 shots we decided to go with one that represented the photo session. At least they were all turned toward the camera.

Daddy, I think it is time to buy the baby girl a John Deere tractor.

The boys were watching a movie on the way home tonight. When we got home Jake unbuckled and laid down as seen above. Well as soon as Judd was unbuckled he very quickly got in the same position. Judd loves Jake and wants to do anything and everything he does, whether it is good or bad.

We did not do anything foolish today maybe we will try that next year. I am not sure my kids were ready for me to start tricking them, just yet.

This is a dress that Aunt Jessica made Anna Kate when she was born. I think it is adorable and I wanted to be sure that I had pictures of her wearing it before she out grew it this summer. TOO CUTE!
