Happy Birthday to Jim!
Today my hubby turned 32. We have a rule in our house that Christmas decorations can not be put out until after Jim's birthday. Since we have been so busy this year and December is swamped I I asked if we could decorate on his birthday. I would not have asked if his birthday did not fall on a Sunday.
He let me do it! He was even gracious enough to wear a Santa hat to put on the first ornament. This is a tradition that Jim and I started our first Christmas. He puts on the first ornament. It is the same ornament each year.

Big Buddy v Grand-babies

All of the kids decided th wrestle with Big Buddy before we left Jackson Lake this afternoon. They had a lot of fun making memories.

Tonight Anna Kate and I were playing peek-a-boo while she was in the bath. She got so tickled that I wanted to capture her smile on camera.

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving day in Georgia at Jackson Lake surrounded by friends and family.

Happy 7th Anniversary!
We went to The Butcher Shop in downtown Memphis. It was really good. The best part was we had a gift certificate to pay for the whole meal. Yummy!

This afternoon Judd woke up from his nap before the other kids. We put him in the bed with us to cuddle and then he started going under the covers playing hide-n-seek.

She is doing great with potty training. She has started smiling instead of crying. This picture was taken by our babysitter tonight.

This morning I decided to cook pancakes and eggs for breakfast. The little ones wanted to watch and help. I just love to have the kids help cook in the kitchen.

Today was another fun day doing crafts. Judd liked working with the feathers. He thought they felt really good.

Today all of the kids in our cul-de-sac came over and drew a whole town on out driveway. It was really neat to see them all outside playing.

This morning Judd wanted to help his daddy put his belt on before going to church. It was the sweetest thing to watch. I tried to capture the moment but it didn't come across in the picture.

Jim is home from Mexico and my dinig room is finally decorated. I like this corner a lot. I have to finish the picture frames and then I will post a picture of that wall also.

I received this picture in an email this morning. My sweet husband went out on the beaches in Mexico and wrote Jim loves Stephanie in the sand.

Potty Training has begun. While we were at Walmart yesterday Anna Kate picked out this frog for her potty. We have been using it when we are outside or traveling in the car. She just enjoys sitting on it. Too funny!

November 9

This morning I took the kids to Walmart to pick up a few things. Just so happens I found this costumes for $2.00 each. I was excited and Mario and Luigi are constantly showing up around our house.

Anna Kate gets very upset in the car. We were on our way to take Jim to the airport for his flight to Mexico. She didn't want any part of being in the car for the hour drive to Memphis.

He had so much fun playing on the hay but I was able to catch him being serious for just one second.

This is one of the pictures taken the night we visited the Double B Boys Ranch. It was a great night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the ranch.

This was a park experience to remember through out the ages.

I packed everyone up to go to the park for lunch and to play for a few hours. As soon as we got there I got Anna Kate out and while I was getting Judd out I heard Jake say "No, Anna." I turned around and she was just about to step into a big mud hole. I ran over there and just as I was close enough to grab her she stepped forward and went ankle deep in mud.

I told the boys that we would have to leave because she was filthy. Jake and Judd were both understandably upset but I couldn't think of anything else to do...until! I remembered that the boys had taken there clothes off in the car on the way home from Georgia. I searched and found a pair of Jake's wind pants and one of Judd's shirt. (FYI: I told Jake to put all of his clothes in the overnight bag, but he didn't. Thank goodness. Also, my mom had put Judd's 3t shirt on Jake) So I had a pair of 5t pants and a 3t shirt.hmmmmm! I took Judd's pants off of him, put them on Anna Kate along with the shirt found in the abck. Then I put the Jake's wind pants on Judd.

The little ones looked ridiculous but it worked and we got to stay at the park. I guess I am thankful for a mom who couldn't read the tags and a little boy we didn't follow instructions.

More fun in the sun! Anna Kate likes for the boys to push her on this tricycle. Most of the time they do a great job, but sometimes we have to remind them to be careful with her.

Since we are trying to savor every minute of beautiful weather we decided to have a picnic for lunch. Everyone enjoyed it and Anna Kate decided to sit in water and then someone's plate. It made a big mess so we just took her pants off for a few minutes.

This picture makes me want to roll on the floor laughing. It needs no explanation yet it needs some commentary.

By Sunday, Mema and Papa had to call in reinforcements. The Brighton Gang had started breaking them down. They were exhausted. Papa Wayne flies in with his work truck and teaches my kids how to fish with magnets. This kept them happy for over an hour which gave the others a chance to rest. Thanks Papa Wayne.
