Bath time! When Judd gets out of the tub he has a new routine. He says "I told (cold) way (lay) down on me mommy. " He wants us to lay on him so that we can warm him up before we put on his pajamas. Actually, Daddy started this routine but mommy is the one in the picture. :-)

No Fear! Jake is very cautious when it comes to certain things, but when he is riding his bike he wants to do "tricks" and go down the biggest hill as fast as his feet can pedal all the while looking at his mommy. This is just one of the many times he was going down the neighbors driveway. Actually, this is not a "real" hill. When he is on a hill he has to wear a helmet. I love that precious head and I don't want it cracked:-)

My baby girl turns 1 on April 9 but she received an early birthday present from a family at church. A BABY DOLL! Oh how she loves this baby. If you squeeze its belly is says "I love you" and then blows kisses. She just cracks up each time. Anna Kate loves to kiss this baby over and over again. I tried to get a picture of her kissing the baby but I could get a good one. At the moment, she didn't want anyone taking the baby from her. "MY BABY"

As I mentioned yesterday, I have heard Priscilla many times and I have always wanted to meet her. Several months ago, Jessica emailed Priscilla to see if it would be possible for me to meet here while she was here speaking in Memphis. This was my birthday present from Jessica. It seemed that this meeting was going to take place, but we ran out of time and never connected. However, Jessica and I did get a quick picture with her.

In September of 2001, I heard Priscilla Shirer speak at a Women's Conference for the very first time. Since that time I have heard her speak many times and each time God really uses those times to do a work in my life.
This year Priscilla did a free event in Memphis called Redemption 2009. Several ladies from our church went to the conference. Jessica and I road together so that we could go early. Jessica was hoping to give me my birthday present at this event.
This is a picture of the two of us as we were waiting on the event to start.

Nana came into tow today and she brought Jake's birthday present. Several months ago, I asked him what he wanted for his birthday.
He told me that he would like Blueberries for Sal for his birthday. He told me that he would like to have that book for his kids when he grew up and that is why he wanted it for his birthday.
Big Buddy and Nana came delivered to book this weekend. He was very excited to get this book.

This morning Jake woke up telling us that his left ear hurt. Anna Kate has been miserable since Tuesday. Judd seemed to have an sinus infection, but was acting fine. Jim and I were going out of town on Sunday so we decided to take all three to the doctor before Nana arrived. Three hours later, we walk out with this diagnosis:
Jake is great. He needs Flonase for allergies.
Anna Kate has a virus. They did x-rays and blood work but she was good and her ears look great.
Judd, you remember he was the one that we didn't think was sick. Well, he had two breathing treatments because he was wheezing so badly and he had a horrible sinus infection. I came home with three prescriptions for him and a nebulizer so that we could do three breathing treatments a day for three days. He did great in the doctors office and at home. He is such a big boy. I must admit the Albuterol makes him wild. He is HILARIOUS to talk to and watch once that stuff gets in his system.
He would say "What that fang(thing) for?" He would scream and say blahhhhhhhhhh!

Okay, so I totally didn't expect to get another present today.
Once upon a time, two ladies (one being me and the other Jessica Kenney) were going to a far away land, Target, to get a few items for Jake and Cooper to play soccer. The carriage, 2006 Trailblazer, was filled with 5 children some happy and some sad. We were stuck behind some very slow people but stayed to course and maintained a very slow horsepower. It wasn't until after we were stopped that the driver, me, started to kick those horses into over-drive. (In my defense, I didn't even realize it). Very soon, the sheriff on the town decided my horses were going a little fast and politely waved me to the side of the road...fairy tale over!
Sherriff: Can I see your license
Me: It is in my purse in the back. I must say that on the particular day I didn't have a voice.
Sherriff: Are you sick?
Me: I have something that caused me to lose my voice.
S: Did you know that you were going 46 in a 30.
Me: No sir, I was just stopped by the train and...
S: Decided to start booking it
Me: Yeah, I guess so
S: Where are you going? (Kids screaming as I get info out of purse)
Me: We are going to Target to get a few things.
S: Ok
Get back in car....WAIT..WONDER...WAIT...HOPE...
S: I see that your birthday is this week.
Me: Yes it is. I will be 30
S: Well I am going to give you a $140 present. I am just going to give you a warning. Just sign right here.
Me: Really! That pink piece of paper would be the best birthday present. If you give me that you don't even have to send me a card:-)
S: You be safe and have a happy birthday!
Two presents in two days!!!!!

This starts my birthday week. I turn 30th in four days. I don't usually get a present this early but I received this Tupperware bowl tonight from my hubby. This is a GREAT present for me. I have been whining for one of these since Oct. I actually bought one in October, but when I received it at church it some how grew legs and walked off before I had a chance to bring it home. I was so excited to get my bowl tonight! Thanks Babe!

All of the caterpillars finally made their cocoons. Now we wait to see beautiful butterflies. I have my doubts since Judd fell on this habitat tonight. If they make live it will be a miracle.
Update: The butterflies came out of their cocoons on the 20th. We had 8 of them. I wasn't here when they let them go so I don't have any pictures of the final stage. Hopefully, next time I will get the butterflies.

For the past two years, I made Memphis my national champions in my bracket. Both years they let me down so this year I decided to go with a different team. I have Louisville will it all but I did pick Missouri to beat Memphis. I stayed up to get a picture of the score during the sports segment of the night news. I am pumped about this when.

The caterpillars are still a big hit in our house. They are getting bigger every day. Soon they will go into their cocoons. Judd always wants to touch them and I rarely let him hold the cup except for this tiny second so that I could take a picture. I bet you know what happened next. You guessed it he dropped the cup.

This is what my living room looks like most nights during the winter. Cars never get old and I am not quite sure who enjoys playing with them more, Jim or the boys. Yes, I do get tired of picking the up every night but I am sure that one day I will wish that I could trip over a little car in the middle of the night.

Judd wasn't a big fan the first couple of times in the snow. He didn't like being cold or wet, but when he figured out that he could EAT the snow he was the first to dressed and waiting by the door.
This is my sweet boy sitting in CLEAN snow having the time of his life. Notice the sunglasses, they were a must in getting him dressed each time he walked out the door. "Mommy, my gasses pleeze!"

The Big Snow
When we woke up this morning everything was covered in this white stuff. Some people call it snow, but I must admit I have never seen so much snow in my life. (Yes, I am just a Georgia girl that doesn't like to get cold.)
Jim was forced to cancel church due to so much snow and the dangerous driving conditions. Not to mention, we couldn't get out of our driveway until 5:30 Sunday evening. We missed being at Crosspointe, but we decided to embrace what the day brought us...SNOW!
We got dressed and headed out for several hours, came in to warm up, make snow cream and then we were back out the door. My one request for the day was to make a snow angel. As I mentioned earlier, I have never seen so much snow so needless to say I have never made a snow angel.
Here I am making a snow angel with my true love.
